There is no shortage of advice on parenting so learn how to take all this with a grain of salt and a lot of love in your heart!

As a new parent, you have no experience in the education of children, but this does not mean that your instincts are not good. However, it is well known that when you bring your baby home, people come out of nowhere, full of advice on raising children, what to do and what you should not. Suddenly, your sister, brother, parents and grandparents all have awful advice to share with you how you can best take care of your new baby.

Whether you want to hear it or not. It is true that your mother or  grandmother have valuable advice, you can put them into practice with great results. For example, Mom knows the best cure for diaper rash in the world. Grandma knows  an infallible cure for colic. Your neighbor, after raising four children in infancy, has experience that you can use. At the same time, you’ll hear all sorts of advice on parenting that may simply not be applicable. This information includes “free of the rod and spoil the child ” theses, as well as advice on potty training and the best foods for your child. New parents are easily confused, feel some sort of insecurity of not having the experience.

Listen to everyone, but let your heart guide you too. Believe me, you’ll be a good parent.
